Help Me Job

Zambia

Privacy Policy

Effective 14 September 2026.

Brixstone operates Help Me Job, a WhatsApp job-alert service for job seekers in Zambia. This policy describes the personal data we actually process to run that service. There is no subscriber website account and no password.

Who we are

The service is Help Me Job. The WhatsApp Business display name is Brixstone. We message you on WhatsApp and recognise payments sent to our Airtel Money number. We do not operate a Facebook Login app.

What we collect

We do not collect a password, email address, or government ID. Images, voice notes, and other WhatsApp types that are not a CV file are ignored.

How we get it

Why we use it

We use this data to provide the subscription you paid for: confirm payment, read your CV, match it against Zambian job listings, send welcome and weekly job alerts, remind you before expiry, and answer chat commands such as RENEW, PREFER, and DELETE.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use it to advertise other companies’ products. Job-alert and renewal messages are part of this service (WhatsApp marketing templates); payment confirmations are utility messages.

Who processes it for us

Job listings themselves come from public Zambian boards (JobWebZambia, Go Zambia Jobs, JobSearchZM, PezaJob). Those sites are sources of jobs, not processors of your CV.

How long we keep it

While your subscription is active we keep the data needed to match and alert. After the subscription expires, CV files and the CV summary are purged automatically 90 days later. If you renew after that purge, you will need to send a CV again.

Payment and subscription dates stay with the phone-number record so we can recognise a returning payer.

Your choices — how to erase data

From the Help Me Job WhatsApp chat, send DELETE, then confirm with YES DELETE within ten minutes. That erases your CV files, CV summary, name, and preferences, and deactivates the subscription.

We keep the phone number, the job-alert history, the CV-upload audit rows, and a name-mismatch counter. Those are not your CV. We keep them so we do not re-send a job you already received, so we can reconcile payments, and so deleting and re-subscribing cannot reset the upload limit. We cannot truthfully say we delete “everything.”

To use the service again after erasure you start over: pay, then send a CV.

Logs and the admin tools

Application logs mask phone numbers (only the last three digits are kept) and do not write subscriber names. Operators use a separate admin dashboard, protected by a shared secret, to run the service. That dashboard uses a session cookie only for the operator login. The public pages (home, this policy, and the terms) do not set a subscriber cookie and do not run analytics scripts.

Children

Help Me Job is for people aged 18 or over who are looking for work. Do not use the service if you are under 18.

Zambia Data Protection Act, 2021

We process this personal data in Zambia to perform the subscription you request by messaging us and paying. The erasure command above is the self-service way to remove the CV payload. For any other question about this policy, use the WhatsApp number.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date at the top. Material changes that affect how we handle your CV or messages will also be described in the WhatsApp chat where we already talk to subscribers.
